“Blistered Hands” by Reign of Kindo - one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.
Dear Less Than Jake,
It’s not you it’s me. I mean, well it’s sort of you. You’ll always be special to me, you got me through hard times, lifted me higher in the good times, and helped me form friendships I’ll never forget, but you just put out a jingle record and I can’t really get behind that at all. And I guess, I’m just getting older and wanting to listen and engage with music of a different vein.
These guys, The Damnwells, have replaced you, it’s official. Like I said, it’s really just both of us, we’ve grown apart. Anthem is still going to be one of my favorite records ever, and your songs will always be able to capture exactly what I’m dealing with in my life at that given moment, but these guys are good in an incredibly different way.
If you could put out a split with them, I could forgive the transgression known as the TVEP.
Sincerely,
Zac
p.s. LTJ I look forward to your next full length just as much as I ever did.

Seems fitting that my last post was on opening day. That I should post something as the Giants are crowned Series champs.
Here’s Brian Wilson and his fantastic beard, which is clearly the reason the Giants were so strong in the post-season.
I was talking with Tripp a few weeks ago, and we were discussing the term bro. Lately, it seems as though a significant amount of people feel that the term bro carries with it a negative connotation. A quick search on Urban Dictionary confirms this. However, Tripp and I agree that bro is most certainly not a negative term and we are not alone. Bro’s 25th definition on Urban Dictionary affirms this statement. As one of my graduate professors would say, “So what?”
I say, it’s time to take bro back. I’m going to continue using it, and I suggest you do the same. To me, a bro is someone who you feel like is important, a friend and comrade you can count on and trust. (Important thought: I feel as though, you can further define bro. For example, I have bros, grad-school bros, music bros, ect. But at the core, these are people who I feel are important). In the coming weeks I’m going to start posting about some of my bros, and why they are awesome. Why you ask? Because they’re my bros and I want you to know how awesome they are.
Note my affinity for supporting my statements with sources…. grad-school.
